General Configuration

• Refresh Logins : Opens a browser window for you to login to eBay and AP. Used for first-time setup and useful for manually refreshing AP logins if log-outs are causing issues. eBay will typically stay logged in permanently.

• AP Login Info : If you use e-mail and password login for AP, enter your credentials here. If you use Discord authentication you should leave these settings blank.

• Authenticate Drive : Authenticate Google Drive for Amazon Reciept backups. This should only have to be done once.

• Sales Watcher : Used for pulling in real-time order information whenever an order is placed by a customer. More info below.

  • Connect eBay : Connect your eBay account to the sales watcher. Will open a browser tab and navigate to a screen that asks for AutoPilot to have access to your order information.

  • Login to AutoPilot : Connects your AutoPilot account to the sales watcher. Will open a browser tab to the AutoPilot login screen in which you can use either e-mail and password login or discord login.

  • Test : Tests the eBay and AP connection, and sends the result to your discord webhook.

  • Enable Sales Watcher : Enables/Disables the Sales Watcher.

  • Profile Path : Your sales watcher profile directory path. You should not need to manage this manually and will automatically fulfill after connecting AutoPilot.

  • Open Profile Folder : Opens your sales watcher profile directory.

• Background : Changes which background your AP Buddy instance will use. AP Buddy supports custom backgrounds. Animated GIFs and still images work!

• Open Backgrounds Folder : Opens the folder where background images are stored. If you'd like to use a custom background place the image in this folder.

• Disable Window Opacity : Disables the Config windows opacity.

• Previewer : Enables the previewer window. This is useful for debugging and taking a peak at certain modules operations, however I'd recommend this be kept off if not actively debugging as it can cause delays in module execution as well as a few edge-case issues. ( Recommendation : Disabled )

• Concurrent Tabs : The number of concurrent tabs the Check Profit and Source module will use. The higher this number, the more system resources AP Buddy will use, but the faster the module will execute. ( Recommendation : 3 )

• Google Sheets Spreadsheet ID : The Google Sheets Spreadsheet ID for Key Sales Metrics to write sales data to.

• Discord Webhook :

  • Token : The Discord Bot Token for your AP Buddy Discord Bot.

  • Channel ID : The Channel ID your AP Buddy Discord Bot will send notifications to.

    • This is your primary Channel ID, used for all notifications that aren't customized to a specific channel, as well as error messages and module completion messages.

  • Check Orders Channel ID : Optional Channel ID specifically for Check Orders notifications.

    • When not set notifications are routed to the default Channel ID.

  • Sales Feed Channel ID : Optional Channel ID specifically for Sales Feed Notifications

    • When not set notifications are routed to the default Channel ID.

  • Test Discord Webhook : A Button to test your Discord webhook and ensure it works properly.

    • Note: Discord Webhook Settings require an app restart before being applied!

• Discord Commands :

  • Application ID : The Application ID for your AP Buddy Discord Bot.

  • Server ID : The Server ID for your AP Buddy Discord Bot.

• Telemetry : Enables/Disables error and usage telemetry. Telemetry is used to automatically report bugs and module usage statistics. Note : An app restart is required for telemetry settings updates to apply.

• Stats Telemetry : Enables/Disables stats telemetry. Stats telemetry is used to automatically report module run statistics to our #stats channel in our Discord server. Entirely anonymous and no private information, names, or sales data is shared.

  • Daily, weekly, and lifetime statistics are tracked, and stats are updated every 4 hours.

  • The statistics tracked are: Products Sourced, Orders Shipped, Order Errors Processed, Invoices Downloaded, Listings Checked, Inactive Listings Handled.

• Permanently Delete Temp Files : This will permanently delete temporary puppteer files rather than moving them to the recyling bin. Please note, if other programs make use of these files (uncommon), or if you're a puppeteer developer yourself, this might cause issues and/or confusion.

Sales Watcher

The sales watcher is a feature that enables you to see all the information about your orders in a glance, typically before they're even fulfilled. This is particularly useful for seeing profit margins quickly and getting ahead of orders with a negative margin. Below is an example screenshot of the Sales Watcher's embed. The watcher runs in its own isolated instance, so it won't interrupt your regularly scheduled tasks nor slow them down.

To enable the Sales Watcher, head to the General section of your config window. The sales watcher will show disconnected before setup.

• First, connect your eBay by pressing the 'Connect eBay' button and follow the prompts.

• Second, login to AP by pressing the 'Login to AutoPilot' button. At this point the status should switch to connected.

• Lastly, enable the sales watcher via the checkbox.

Press the test button, and if the webhook delivers successfully then your sales watcher should be set up and ready to go!
