  • Intel Macs: Download the DMG file indicated with (Intel) in the filename (e.g., AP Buddy 1.0.26.3 (Intel).dmg).

  • Apple Silicon Macs: Download the standard DMG (e.g., AP Buddy 1.0.26.3.dmg).

Steps:

  1. Double-click the downloaded DMG.

  2. In the popup window, drag and drop the AP Buddy icon into your Applications folder.

  3. If prompted, choose Overwrite - this will not affect your existing config files.

  4. On first launch, macOS may warn you that the app is from an unidentified developer.

    • Right-click AP Buddy in Applications and select Open, then click Open again to bypass this warning.

    • You only need to do this the first time.

  1. Download the .exe installer (e.g., AP Buddy 1.0.26.3 Setup.exe).

  2. Double-click to run the installer.

  3. AP Buddy will automatically install and launch after setup.
