Quick-Start Guide

1.) Installation

Download and Install AP Buddy for your Operating System. You'll recieve an e-mail with a download link after starting your subscription. Need help? Check out the Installation Page.

2.) Enter Your Key

After installing AP Buddy you'll be prompted to enter a key, you'll recieve your license key via e-mail after starting your subscription. Enter it, and after entering AP Buddy will launch.

3.) Configure

Press the configure button on the home screen.

3a.) Authenticate AP and eBay

  • In the 'Main' section of the config window, press the 'Refresh Logins' button.

  • Go through the eBay and AP login process.

  • For Discord Authentication:

    • Close the discord app prior to authenticating, or press 'Continue to Discord' and ignore the in-app prompt to log in.

    • Login with email address and password or by scanning the QR code. Enter any 2FA codes if prompted.

    • Discord Authentication is the preferred login method.

  • For E-Mail and Password Login: Enter both in the config window just below the 'Refresh Logins' button.

  • After successfully authenticating the browser window will navigate on it's own for a few seconds and then close automatically. Do not close it yourself.

3b.) Add Amazon Accounts

  • On the home screen, press the 'Add Amz Account' button

  • Enter a unique identifier for the account (ex. the e-mail or the account name).

  • Enter the account email.

  • Enter the account password.

  • If the account has one, enter its proxy. The proxy format is:

  • Press the Add Account button, a window will launch and navigate to the Amazon Login Page.

  • Login to the account and wait for AP Buddy to save the account info and cookies to your settings. Do not use passkey. Wait for the browser to close on its own.

  • Repeat for all accounts.

3c.) Configure to Your Liking

Go through the config window and edit settings to your liking. Some settings you might want to change immediately:

  • Profit Margin - under the 'List' section - Used when posting and making updates to profit margins.

  • Tracking API Key - under the 'Shipping' section - Used when uploading tracking to eBay orders.

  • Minimum Total Products - under 'Source' section - The minimum number of products AP Buddy will source when sourcing.

4.) Add Known Dropshippers to the Dropshippers.txt file

Under the 'Source' section is a button labeled 'Open Dropshippers File'. Click this, and a .txt file should open. Paste in a list of known dropshippers here, one store to a line. AP Buddy will use these to find more stores, and effectively 'snowball' source more products.

5.) Create a Discord Bot and Discord Server for Webhook Notifications

In order to give you updates in a timely manner, AP Buddy uses Discord bot intigration to send embeds regarding order information and the actions it takes to manage your store. Create one, and enter the Discord Bot Token and Channel ID into the config file. Ensure the bot has the 'bot' Scope selected, and under bot permissions ensure 'Send Messages' and 'Embed Links' are selected.

6.) That's it! You're done!

But AP Buddy supports a lot more features that we haven't configured yet! This is just the bare minimum to get you going, be sure to check out all our other features, including but not limited to:
