Troubleshooting
Below is a list of known issues with potential solutions, typically not related to an AP Buddy bug. If your issue is covered below, please attempt the outlined fix before contacting support. If the outlined fix does not work, please contact support.
eBay Modal White Screen

If you're getting an error message that shows an eBay pop-up window with a white screen you need to delete your session cookies and log back in to eBay and AP.
Refresh Logins - In your config window's general tab, press refresh logins
3 Dots - In the top right corner of the browser window, click the 3 dots.
Delete Browsing Data - In the dropdown menu click 'Delete browsing data...'
Delete Cookies - Check 'Cookies and Other Site Data' and press 'Delete Data'
Re-login : Clearing cookies will reset logins. Log back in to eBay and AP.
Restart : Close and re-open AP Buddy.
If it happens again after clearing cookies: Sometimes eBay stores broken UI data outside of cookies. If it keeps re-appearing, do this version instead:
Open the Chrome clear-data screen again (
three dots → Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data).Click the Advanced tab.
Check Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, and Site settings.
Set the time range to All time, then hit Clear data.
Reopen AP Buddy, log back into eBay and AP, and try again.
API Request Errors
Error 401 : Unauthorized Request
There's an issue with your KalkTrack/TrackTaco API Key.
→ Fix: Double-check your key in config.
Error 404 : Not Found
The API endpoint could not be found.
→ Usually means the API provider is down. Wait and try later.
Error 530 : Cloudflare / DNS / Config Error
This means Cloudflare or the API provider cannot reach their own servers (misconfigured DNS, server offline, or unauthenticated request).
→ Fix: Nothing to do inside AP Buddy. Wait or contact the API provider.
Other 5xx Errors :
These are server-side failures. They come from the API provider, not AP Buddy.
→ Fix: Wait for the provider to resolve.
eBay Captchas
If you're seeing frequent eBay captchas one way to surpress them is:
Refresh Logins - In your config window's general tab, press refresh logins.
Navigate to a Product - On the eBay home page click on a product, you should be served a captcha. If not, try navigating to a store, and if that still doesn't work try navigating to a seller and clicking to send them a message.
Solve the Captcha - Solve the captcha, and after solving they should no longer appear. If prompted to login again, login agin.
If this still doesn't solve the problem, try the following:
1.) Log out, and log back in to your eBay account. Solve any captchas during login flow.
2.) If relogging still doesn't fix the issue, delete the ap-buddy\stores\[store_name]\puppeteer_user_data folder, and after doing so log back in to AP and eBay via Refresh Logins.
Hard Crash with No Error Message
If AP Buddy closes without an error message: Check whether the drive AP Buddy is installed on has enough free storage space. At least 10 GB is a safe buffer.
